Sarah Fox-I am a mental Health Advocate because I want to promote awareness and advocate on issues that I am recovering from. I believe in the Helper’s principle: the notion that helping other facilitate’s one’s own recovery. Peer Support is a two-way process. I also believe in the peer principle: the policy in peer-run program(s) that relationships are based on shared experiences and values. A peer relationship implies equality, along with mutual acceptance and mutual respect. It is my experience that Hope survives. It is my desire to affirm and inspire hope. Hope survives hopes to offer resources that inspire hope. Hope Survives SAFEly desires to offer resources and peer support. Hope Survives SAFEly promotes and advocates for self-injury awareness. Hope Survives
Hope Survives!Hope survives when all else dies hope can still be found. Recovery is possible.
