Sharon, AKA MAMA, is an award winning freelance writer, author,parenting expert and humor columnist for Westchester Family magazine in NY. She has written numerous feature pieces which have appeared in many different Regional, National and International publications including Chicken Soup for the Soul: Raising Kids on the Spectrum.Her first book The Don’t Freak Out Guide to Parenting Kids with Asperger’s was released October 9th 2013 and is available on Amazon & Barnes and Noble. Sharon is an Autism Advocate willing to talk to anyone in an effort to spread awareness.Sharon has two kiddos: Jay who is 12 and has Asperger’s and Grace who is 10 and doesn’t!

This Facebook page is Sharon’s interactive Village because she knows first hand that it really does take a village to raise our kids. It is a positive place where people can come together to laugh to cry to share what works and what doesn’t work. She prides this page in being a DRAMA FREE ZONE and plans on keeping it that way. Differences in opinions are always welcomed as long as they are done respectfully without malicious intent.
